La Manekine / The Girl without Hands

This dark story, also for adults, is based on the Grimm’s tale, ‘The Girl without Hands‘.

The poor miller accidentally sells his beautiful daughter to the devil.

To delay his daughter’s fate, the devil and the miller agree to let the girl stay with her father for some years, but only if her hands are chopped off.

As time passes and the devil demands the girl, she chooses to flee. After a long flight she finds herself in the king’s fruit orchard, is taken to the king and accused of eating fruit from his trees.

The king likes the girl very much and marries her. But the devil uses stealth in an attempt to retrieve the girl.

See the performance to discover whether or not the devil succeeds.
