Obludarium

Obludarium is a totally unique circus performance, combining marionettes, masks, dance and live music. There are 15 artists on stage in the theatre’s own beautiful theatre building, specially constructed for this show. The performance is a new type of circus, but in an old-fashioned style. A bit like the side show in an old movie with monsters and strange humans, like the bearded woman, the strongest man in the world, etc. The show moves between moments of pure joy and breathtaking poetry.

There are wonderful costumes, beautiful music and many surprises, including new and original dance, puppet manipulation and mask theatre.

Festival of Wonder has presented this gem of a performance in previous years. We are asked again and again to bring it back to Silkeborg. Now is your chance to see it – maybe for the last time?
